We have seen Cinderella runs by men and women's soccer. Track and swim/dive team are pretty competitive but wrestling has consistently improved over the last decade. If wresting program year-end results were a stock, everybody would be buying. As KD has pointed out, the higher your ranked, the harder it is to stay there or do better... yet he has done exactly that 11 years running.

NCs are obviously one of the ways any AD wants to build his/her legacy, therefore no better investment than wrestling for Whit.

I'm already mentally prepared to see KD move on but what will bother me more than anything if we ultimately (with KD or new blood) miss the opportunity to properly invest in a program that has trended much better than any other program at VT.
